disability and AT RISK YOUTH programs

By making our programs accessible to all members of the community, particularly those who may face barriers to participation, young people benefit from meaningful learning both on and off the field. We bring people together to build connection, empathy, and mutual understanding in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment, while supporting lasting positive change in the values, actions, and attitudes of the next generation

blind soccer

The 12th Player partnered with Enhanced LLC and Oman Paralympic Committee to build an Omani national blind soccer team.

While this 5 year project is ultimately aimed at qualification for the games, the projects’ legacy is equally important. By encouraging more children participate in blind soccer, we will be developing the program with the aim of qualifying to represent Oman.  With this kind of evolution, we will attract the very best talent for the Paralympic team, giving us the best chance of success.

Providing a range of activities to support children of all abilities

leisure activity days

Through sports and leadership activities, The 12th Player helps people with and without disabilities find their voice and realise their potential by teaching them that they are more than their ailment. Together, we strive for self betterment, respect and inclusion - for everyone.

As a participant, members are invited to participate in a range of activities such as fishing, football, crafts etc.

By the end of the program, participants have bonded together through the cumulative experience of success, failure, hardship, and triumph that sports can provide.
